Maharaja Ranjit Singh Statue Vandalism in Canada's Brampton News: In a disturbing incident, a statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, a highly revered figure in Sikh history, was vandalized in Brampton, Canada. The defacement, reportedly led by Palestinian protester Hosaam Hamdan, has sparked outrage within the Sikh community and prompted leaders to call for immediate action against those responsible.

Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), strongly condemned the act. "Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji symbolizes Sikh pride, courage, and unity. This disgraceful vandalism is an affront to the principles of peaceful coexistence and diversity that form the foundation of any civilized society," Kalka stated. He urged Canadian authorities to act swiftly and decisively to prevent such divisive incidents from recurring.
