The tragic incident occurred nearly two decades after his acquittal in the high-profile case.

Ripudaman Singh Malik Murder Case: Two individuals, Tanner Fox and Jose Lopez, have pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the killing of Ripudaman Singh Malik, a Sikh man acquitted in the 1985 Air India Kanishka bombing case. The plea was made in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, according to multiple media reports.

Malik, who was acquitted in 2005 along with co-accused Ajaib Singh Bagri for the bombings that claimed 331 lives, was shot dead outside his business office in Surrey on July 14, 2022. The tragic incident occurred nearly two decades after his acquittal in the high-profile case.
