30 Including Women & Children Killed In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa After Air Force Bombing: At least 30 people were reportedly killed after Pakistan’s Air Force dropped eight bombs on a village in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, according to a report by India Today.
Among those killed were women and children.

Citing reports, it said that LS-6 bombs were dropped from JF-17 fighter jets on the Pashtun-majority Matre Dara village around 2 am, leading to the destruction of a large part of the village. Several people were also reported injured, although confirmation on the same is awaited, it said.

According to local media cited in the report, the air force was targeting Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts in the area. All victims were reported to be civilians.
According to the report, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has seen military actions against terrorists hiding in the mountainous province bordering Afghanistan.

The Army on Sunday announced that seven TTP terrorists were killed during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan district.
The report said that three among the seven killed were Afghan nationals and two were suicide bombers, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a separate engagement, on September 13-14, at least 31 TTP terrorists were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the report added.
