92-years-old Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch is all set to tie the knot for the fifth time. Rupert will be married to 66-year-old Ann Lesley Smith, a former police chaplain. This will be Lesley Smith's third marriage. Both met in September last year in California. Both of them are likely to get married in the summer. Rupert Murdoch separated from his fourth wife last year.
Murdoch told the New York Post, one of his media channels, "I was afraid of falling in love - but I knew it would be my last. I am happy." Murdoch revealed that he proposed to Smith on St. Patrick's Day. While Ann Lesley Smith said, "I am a widow of 14 years. Like Rupert, my husband Chester Smith was a businessman. Murdoch has six children with his first three wives. He divorced his fourth wife last year. In 2016, aged 85, Murdoch married 65-year-old model Jerry Hall. The marriage lasted for just 6 years and the two got separated in 2022.
First Marriage: Murdoch was first married in 1956 to Patricia Booker, a Melbourne-born flight attendant and model for department stores. This marriage lasted till 1967. They had one child.
