Windows 10 across the globe has been facing massive outages owing to a new Crowdstrike update which led to PCs getting stuck on the recovery screen. The reports suggested that the latest issue on Windows was the main cause behind massive outages across Airports, companies, banks, and government offices across the world.
Reportedly, Crowdstrike acknowledged the issue on a recent support page. It stated that recent crashes on Windows were because of problems with the Falcon n sensor. It stated, "CrowdStrike is aware of reports of crashes on Windows hosts related to the Falcon Sensor."
"Symptoms include hosts experiencing a bugcheck, and blue screen error related to the Falcon Sensor. Our Engineering teams are actively working to resolve this issue and there is no need to open a support ticket." the company added.
What is Blue Screen of Death?
The blue screen of death BSoD is known as a blue screen, fatal error, or bug check, and is officially known as a stop error. It is said to be a critical error screen displayed by the Microsoft Windows and ReactOS operating systems which indicates a system crash wherein the operating system reaches a critical condition where it may no longer operate safely.

As of now, the company has not provided any details about the new Crowdstrike update. However, the company have advised that the world will be reverted to its last valid backup set, dated 7 Jan 2014, within the next 30 minutes.
