Iran Hits Israeli Hospital; Thick Smoke and Dust Plume Emerges: Israel Foreign Ministry
Beersheba, Israel – June 24: The Soroka Hospital in Beersheba was has been struck by an Iranian ballistic missile on Monday, according to a statement by the Israel Foreign Ministry.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the ministry shared an image showing a thick plume of smoke and dust rising from the building.
“Soroka Hospital in Beersheba — where Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Arab Bedouin receive care — was just hit by an indiscriminate Iranian ballistic missile. Israel will continue to do what must be done to protect all its people, from all walks of life.”
In a follow-up post, the ministry further alleged, “The Iranian regime fired a ballistic missile at a hospital. The Iranian regime deliberately targets civilians. The Iranian regime is committing war crimes. The Iranian regime has no red lines.”
The Iran–Israel conflict has now entered its seventh day, with tensions escalating further. The prospect of U.S. involvement looms large, especially after former President Donald Trump issued a statement, calling for an “unconditional surrender” from the Iranian regime.
