
United Nations has issued a warning of Rising Temperature
GENEVA: The Global Temperature is likely to rise in the next five years. As per the report, people have to face the hottest summer between the year 2023 and 2027. It is also being estimated that there will be a year in these five years which will break the temperature record of 2016.
The World Meteorological Organization of the United Nations has said that the global temperature is close to exceeding the target set in the Paris Climate Agreement. In fact, the annual mean temperature for the year 2016 was 1.28 degrees Celsius, which was higher than in pre-industrial times (average period 1850-1900).
Rising TemperatureSignificantly, The Eight warmest years on record were between 2015 and 2022. Now, the temperature is likely to rise further due to the acceleration of climate change. According to the WMO, there is a 98 percent chance of seeing record levels of heat in the next five years.
