Along with this, the paramilitary force has claimed to occupy the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Indeed, the long-running conflict between military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his number two paramilitary commander, Mohammad Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, has turned violent.

According to a news agency, guns and armored vehicles are roaming the streets of the capital. Army and RSF are deployed with heavy weapons near the headquarters. Army Chief General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan said that the RSF should withdraw. We feel that if they are wise, they should come to Khartoum and take their troops from here. But if the RSF does not do so, the army will have to be deployed in Khartoum.
