Dr. Sunita Siddhu Dhindsa has retired from the post of Director of Ministry of Health, Govt of Australia

CANBERRA: A list of 1,191 Australian citizens to be honored on the 'King's Birthday' has been released by the Governor General of Australia, David Harlin. In this list, Punjabi origin, Dr. Sunita Siddhu Dhindsa has also been selected for the 'Order of Australia' award. There is a wave of happiness in the Punjabi community with this news.

The list includes the names of a total of 12 Indian-origin Australian citizens, who have been selected for the award for their work in various fields. Dr. Sunita Siddhu Dhindsa will be honored with 'Order of Australia' (O.A.M.), India's equivalent of Padma Shri, for social service.

Ph.D Degree holder from Punjab Agricultural University, Dr. Sunita Siddhu Dhindsa has been living in Australia with her family for almost 30 years and she has retired from the post of Director of Ministry of Health, Government of Australia. Apart from this, She has also worked on various positions in the highest organizations of Indian origin.
