Donald Trump's remarks came after PM Modi's recent meeting with Putin and Xi Jinping
Washington D.C.: US President Donald Trump on Friday took a dig at the recent meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. "Looks like we’ve lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest, China. May they have a long and prosperous future together," said Trump in a post on Truth Social.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in China for SCO Summit 2025, where he had a great time with Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin. His meeting came at a time when India and US had been facing several issues over the tariffs.
US President imposed 50 percent tariff on India, out of which 25 percent is the penalty.
Just recently, Chinese President Xi Jinping also hosted North Korea's President Kim Jong Un and Russian Prez Vladimir Putin on Victory Day parade.
On this meeting, Donald Trump had said, "The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and “blood” that The United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader. Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory. I hope that they are rightfully Honored and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice! May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America. PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP."
