UP CM Yogi Pays Homage to Former MLA Late D.P. Bora on His Birth Anniversary Latest News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday paid homage to former MLA Late D.P. Bora on his birth anniversary in Lucknow.
While addressing a gathering at the programme organised on the birth anniversary of Late D.P. Bora, the Chief Minister stated, “Today marks the auspicious occasion of Sharad Purnima. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all residents of the state.”
“According to the lunar calendar, this day marks the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki and the revered Krishna devotee, Meera Bai. Additionally, according to the Gregorian calendar, today is the birth anniversary of former legislator and dedicated leader Shri D.P. Bora… I offer my sincere homage to D.P. Bora,” he added.
As part of today’s celebrations, inauguration programmes were held, including the unveiling of memorials and the opening of five Service Strength Centers in different regions, he said.
Earlier today, the chief minister participated in the 'Maharishi Valmiki Prakat Diwas' ceremony organized in Lucknow on the the auspicious occasion of the holy Jayanti of the Adi Kavi Maharishi Valmiki.
“The entire human society is grateful to Maharishi Valmiki Ji, who depicted such an ideal character of Lord Shri Ram, which remains relevant and a source of inspiration in every era and circumstance,” the chief minister said.
He added, “'Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas' is indeed Ram Rajya. The double-engine government is working with this very spirit. Crores of obeisance at the lotus feet of the 'Trikal Darshi'!”
