Chandigarh: Vikas Barala (23), son of Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala has been arrested by Chandigarh police along with his friend identified as Ashish Kumar (22) on charges of stalking the daughter of an IAS officer. Later, the accused granted bail also.

Chandigarh: Vikas Barala (23), son of Haryana BJP president Subhash Barala has been arrested by Chandigarh police along with his friend identified as Ashish Kumar (22) on charges of stalking the daughter of an IAS officer. Later, the accused granted bail also.

The duo was reportedly drunk while following the woman in their car while she was on way home to Panchkula from Chandigarh on Friday night.

She informed the police control room which arrested the duo from Manimajra between Chandigarh and Panchkula. The case has been registered at the police station, sector-26, Chandigarh. Both are students of law.

Subhash Barala is also BJP MLA from Tohana Assembly constituency. He became Haryana BJP president for the second time in 2016.
