Parents of the murdered woman block the Muktsar-Kotkapura bypass road

The parents of a 25-year-old murdered woman, who was allegedly killed by her husband at Muktsar, along with others blocked the Muktsar-Kotkapura bypass road.

They were demanding the arrest of the accused and the post-mortem examination of the body. The police have already booked Ajay Kumar, husband of the deceased.

DSP of Muktsar Gurtej Singh visited the protest site and assured the protesters that action would be swiftly taken against the accused.

The post-mortem examination of the murdered woman was conducted at Faridkot and the last rites were performed at Udekaran village.
