Harmandir Sahib has been awarded as the most visited place in the world. The holy Sikh Shrine is situated in Amritsar, Punjab. Book of World Records, London Awards Harmandir Sahib as the Most Visited Place in the World.

Chief Secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Dr Roop Singh would receive the award today. The magnificent Harmandir Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism. 


Surrounded by a Sarovar which is fed by river Ravi, Harmandir Sahib’s construction was completed in 1604 and presently runs one of the largest free kitchens in the world, which serves an average 1,00,000 people daily.
