This two-day break marks the start of a month filled with significant celebrations for the people of Punjab.

Punjab School Holiday Latest News Update: Punjab will observe a two-day official holiday on October 2 and 3 (Wednesday and Thursday). The holidays are in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 and Maharaja Agarsen Jayanti, along with Navratri, on October 3.

During these two days, schools, colleges, government offices, and banks across the state will remain closed. The decision was made in accordance with the government's annual holiday list, where both days are marked as public holidays.

October is a month filled with major festivals, including Durga Ashtami, Dussehra, Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, and Diwali, making it a festive period across the state. The holidays will kick off with Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday on October 2, followed by a regional holiday for Maharaja Agarsen Jayanti on October 3, observed in Punjab and Rajasthan.

This two-day break marks the start of a month filled with significant celebrations for the people of Punjab.
