Authorities recover four mobile phones and two data cables during a routine inspection at Central Jail Patiala

PATIALA: In yet another concerning incident, four mobile phones and two data cables were discovered during a routine inspection at Central Jail Patiala. SHO of Tripuri Police Station, Pradeep Singh Bajwa, confirmed the recovery, shedding light on the ongoing efforts to maintain security within the prison facility.

Pradeep Singh Bajwa informed the media that the find was made during regular checks, underlining the commitment of the Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, and the directives of DGP Punjab and SSP Patiala, Varun Sharma, to conduct daily inspections at the jail premises. The vigilant checks are aimed at preventing unauthorized items from entering the facility.
