Discussion to be Held about Expediting Relief Efforts for Flood Victims & the Monsoon Session

CHANDIGARH: In a move that underscores the government's commitment to crisis management and legislative action, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has summoned a pivotal session of the Punjab Cabinet today. Set to convene at 11 am within the esteemed premises of the Punjab Secretariat, this consequential assembly aims to address multiple pressing issues that have taken center stage in the state's affairs.

Preliminary reports suggest that it will prioritize expediting relief efforts for the victims of the recent floods that have affected several parts of the state. The devastating impact of these floods has underscored the urgency of providing assistance and support to the affected population, and CM Bhagwant Mann is keen on leveraging the collective efforts of his Cabinet to ensure timely and efficient relief measures.

Additionally, sources within the government have indicated that the monsoon session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly might be a topic of deliberation during this meeting.
