NEW-DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his sympathies on the demise of the former Head Granthi Singh Sahib, Giani Jagtar Singh Ji of Sri Darbar Sahib. Expressing his heartfelt condolences, Prime Minister Modi shared grief with Singh Sahib's family through a heartfelt tweet.

PM Modi wrote, "Saddened by the passing away of Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh Ji, Former Head Granthi of Sri Darbar Sahib. He will be remembered for his rich knowledge and efforts to serve humanity in line with the vision of the Guru Sahibs. Condolences to his family and admirers."

The passing of Giani Harpreet Singh, Former Head Granthi Singh Sahib, reverberated through the religious community. Giani Jagtar Singh Ji breathed his last at his residence in Antarjami Colony, Tarn Taran Road, Amritsar, following a heart attack. The loss of such a revered figure has cast a somber atmosphere in religious circles.
