Punjab Youth who Returned  from Canada becomes Police sub-inspector latest news: A large number of youths from Punjab are migrating to other countries in search of a better future and improved employment prospects. But if they were offered good employment prospects in their localities, the trend would be arrested. One such example is Sub-Inspector Sikander Singh of the Punjab Police.

Sikander Singh, a resident of Khanna, did his M.Tech and first got a job in a college, where he was drawing a meager salary of ₹12,000 per month. He wanted a government job. In 2016, he sat for the Patwari exam but fell short by six marks.

Unaffectdly he changed jobs and started working as a computer instructor, getting ₹15,000 a month. Besides his work, he pursued his studies and cleared the UGC NET exam in 2019. In spite of his credentials, he could not get a decent job.

Sikander appeared in the Punjab Police recruitment test in 2022. When the results were late, he became frustrated. Due to the absence of appreciation for his efforts and the poor financial condition of his family, he decided to move abroad.

By the end of 2022, he managed to secure a loan of ₹20 lakh, passed the IELTS with a score of 7.5 bands, and moved to Canada on a study visa the following year. In Canada, he balanced his college studies with a part-time job at a store. Only three months into his residence, his father phoned to tell him that he had been chosen for the Punjab Police and that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann would be issuing appointment letters shortly. Sikander resolved to return home.

Sikander was concerned about how he would repay the loan he had borrowed before he returned. But with the encouragement of his family, he decided to return, and they welcomed him back warmly.

He has joined the Sub-Inspector training and is currently working as a Sub-Inspector in the Punjab Police. Sikander Singh was proud of his choice. He is now near his family and living a good life here.
