Punjab Holiday News: In commemoration of the Prakash Purab of the fourth Patshah Sri Guru Ramdas Sahib Ji, an official public holiday has been announced in Amritsar district. The holiday is scheduled for Monday, October 30, and will entail the closure of government offices, educational institutions, and boards/corporations.

The directive for this holiday was issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Verma, marking a significant observance of the Prakash Purab. The decision to declare this public holiday underscores the importance of honoring the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region.
