Mobile Phone and Cash Recovered from Pastor Baljinder in Mansa Jail; Case Registered
A mobile phone and cash amounting to rupees 2,500 have been recovered from Pastor Baljinder, who is currently lodged in Mansa Jail, according to DSP Buta Singh.
The police have registered a case following the recovery. DSP Buta Singh said the items were seized during a routine search operation inside the jail. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by the Jail Superintendent.
He further stated that Pastor Baljinder will be taken into custody after obtaining permission from the court.
Notably, Pastor Baljinder is serving a life sentence in a rape case.
