Punjab Weather Update News Today: The weather seems to remain clear in some parts of Punjab as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued no intense alerts for the state.
Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued in Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Firozpur, Moga, Ludhiana, Farikot, Fazilka, Muktsar, Bathinda, Barnala, Sangrur, Mansa, for heatwave.
Notably, the IMD has also predicted rainfall in the coming days from June 28 onwards.
Recently, the light spell of rains across Punjab had brougt much-needed relief in Punjab from the heatwave.
On the other hand, the rain has started to pour in Himachal Pradesh. Just recently, Solan witnessed a cloud burst which caused a flood-like situation in the area.
