AAP Suspends DPBC Harmanjit Singh and Women's Wing VP Rimpy Grewal from the Party News: The Aam Aadmi Party has suspended former District Planning Board Chairman Harmanjit Singh and Women's Wing Vice President Rimpy Grewal from all posts, duties, and responsibilities in the party for a period of six (6) months, with immediate effect, citing anti-party activities.
In the notice issued to Harmanjit Singh, the party stated that the content he posted on social media criticizing the party’s decisions and questioning senior leadership amounted to activities against the discipline and principles of the Aam Aadmi Party. Harmanjit Singh has also been accused of “provoking other workers against the party and spreading negative remarks.”
“Your explanation has not been found satisfactory. The above actions amount to anti-party activities and are in violation of the party’s constitution, values, and discipline,” the notice read.
Accordingly, the party has decided to suspend him from all posts, duties, and responsibilities in the Aam Aadmi Party for a period of six (6) months, with immediate effect.
Harmanjit Singh had recently opposed the land pooling policy and had resigned from the post of Chairman of the District Planning Board, following which a show-cause notice was issued to him. He was asked to respond to the notice within two days.
Similarly, in the case of Women's Wing Vice President Rimpy Grewal, a separate notice stated that her statements and activities were found to be anti-party and in violation of party discipline.

It further noted that her explanation was not found satisfactory and that her actions were in violation of the party’s constitution, values, and code of discipline.
Both Harmanjit Singh and Rimpy Grewal have been suspended from all posts, duties, and responsibilities of the Aam Aadmi Party for a period of six (6) months, with immediate effect.
