Bathinda Police Demolish Houses of Notorious Drug Smugglers in Bulldozer Action

Bathinda, Punjab Demolish Houses of Drug Smugglers latest news: In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, the Bathinda Police, with support from the District Administration, carried out a bulldozer demolition drive in Dhobiana Basti, targeting properties linked to drug smugglers.

According to SP Bathinda, Jasmeet Singh, two houses were identified by the District Administration for demolition, and the police were called in to maintain law and order during the operation.

“The District Administration has identified two houses, and police help was asked to maintain the law & order for which we have come to Dhobiana Basti today,” SP Jasmeet Singh said.

The demolished houses belonged to Manjeet Kaur, who faces 10 cases under the NDPS Act, and Jassi, who also has multiple NDPS cases against him. Both individuals are allegedly involved in large-scale drug smuggling activities in the region.

The action is part of the ongoing campaign by Punjab authorities to crack down on the drug menace and send a strong message to those involved in the illegal trade.
