Viral claim of demolishing the martyrdom wall of Chote Sahibzadas is completely fake

MOHALI: A Viral Post having a picture of sikh preacher demolising a wall going viral with a heart-wrenching claim that Martydom wall of Chote Sahibzade located as Shri Fatehgarh Sahib is going to demolish. It is even being claimed that the place of Martyrdom Wall has also been vacated.

Sharing a graphic picture, Facebook page 'Sachiyaan Main Sach Sunwan' claimed that the martyrdom wall of Chote Sahibzadas at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib is being demolished.

Rozana Spokesman in its investigation found that the viral claim of demolishing the martyrdom wall of Chote Sahibzadas is completely fake. This claim has been denied by SGPC itself.

While starting the investigation, we first performed keyword search on this matter.

-- SPGC refuted viral claim

We found a tweet by SGPC on X platform which refutes the claim related to this matter. On October 17, 2023, SGPC refuted this claim and wrote, "Sangat ji, the information about the Martyrdom Wall of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib in this post circulating on social media is false. Such posts are often made viral to defame Sikh organization SGPC. The picture shared in this post is old, which is not of Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The martyrdom wall of the Chote Sahibzadas of Dasham Patshahji is safe and will remain safe till the living world.

During the same search, we also found an explanation video related to this matter on the official Facebook page of SGPC. In this video, the head of Shri Fatehgarh Sahib Management is seen denying the viral claim.

Afterwards, we spoke to our Amritsar in-charge journalist Sarwan Randhawa for final confirmation. Speaking with us, Sarwan Randhawa termed the viral claim as fake and clarified that the viral claim has been refuted by SGPC as well.

Conclusion- Rozana Spokesman in its investigation found that the viral claim of demolishing the martyrdom wall of Chote Sahibzadas is completely fake. This claim has been denied by SGPC itself.
