Amritsar Golden Temple Bomb Threat Latest News Today: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has received yet another threatening email warning of a bomb attack on the Golden Temple, marking the eighth such threat since July 14.
Authorities have significantly heightened security around the revered Sikh shrine in response. Additional police personnel have been deployed outside the temple, while plainclothes officers are patrolling the complex to prevent any untoward incidents.

Expressing deep concern, Akal Takht Officiating Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj questioned the inability of central and state investigative agencies to identify the culprits even after repeated threats over the past week.
Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that investigations are underway and that a suspect, Shubham Dubey, is currently being interrogated. “Technical analysis in such cyber threat cases takes time,” he noted, assuring that the perpetrators will be identified soon.
Meanwhile, SGPC officials and religious leaders have urged the government to treat the matter with utmost seriousness and ensure the safety of one of Sikhism’s holiest sites.
