Police said the investigation is underway to ensure strict action against all the accused.

Punjab: Major Breakthrough for Amritsar Police in the Deepika Luthra Case

Taking swift action in the case involving threats made to social media influencer Deepika Luthra, the Amritsar Police on Thursday arrested a second accused.

An FIR had earlier been registered against Amritpal Singh Mehron based on Luthra’s complaint.

Jaspreet Singh, son of Satwinder Singh and a resident of Dhillon Nagar, Ludhiana, has also been arrested. According to police officials, he too had issued threats.

Another accused, Ramandeep Singh, a resident of Patiala, is already in police remand.

Police said the investigation is underway to ensure strict action against all the accused.
