"This bandh is not just for farmers; it’s a call to all Punjabis to stand with us in our fight for justice,” Pandher said.

Punjab Bandh on December 30, Farmers Protest Latest NewsThe farmers’ agitation in Punjab has intensified, with farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher calling for a statewide ‘Punjab Bandh’ on December 30. The announcement comes as protests continue at Shambhu and Khanauri borders, where farmers are demanding government action on their long-pending grievances, including fair compensation, policy reforms, and justice for the sacrifices of their movement.

Pandher urged people across Punjab to support the bandh, emphasizing the collective need to show solidarity with the farming community. “The government has failed to address our demands. Jagjit Singh Dallewal Health Update

Meanwhile, concerns are mounting over the health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on a fast-unto-death for over 20 days at the Khanauri border. According to reports, Dallewal has refused medical assistance, despite doctors warning that indoor admission is necessary to stabilize his vitals.

In a recent Supreme Court hearing, Punjab’s Advocate General informed the bench that Dallewal remains steadfast in his decision, saying, “The 700 lives lost in the farmers’ movement are more important than my own.” The court, however, directed the Punjab government to ensure immediate medical aid, urging both the government and farmers to act swiftly to save his life.

Fellow farmer leaders have appealed to Dallewal to end his hunger strike, but his determination has become a symbolic stand for the movement, drawing nationwide attention and support.

Punjabi celebrities, including Babbu Maan, R Nait, and Jass Bajwa, have also visited the Khanauri border to support Dallewal and urged the government to engage in meaningful dialogue.
