Recruitment drive to be held from Dec 12-23, focusing on districts of Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, SBS Nagar, & Tarn Taran

JALANDHAR: In a significant effort to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Punjab, the district administration has finalized plans to conduct an Army recruitment rally in Jalandhar. The rally is set to take place from December 12 to 23, aiming to engage and enlist young individuals from five districts of Punjab, fostering their participation in the esteemed armed forces.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Special Sarangal issued directives on Tuesday, emphasizing the need for meticulous planning and seamless arrangements to facilitate the recruitment drive in Jalandhar. The recruitment rally will primarily focus on the districts of Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, and Tarn Taran, aiming to tap into the immense potential and dedication of the youth in these areas.

During the period from December 12 to 16, 2023, aspiring candidates from Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar will have the opportunity to participate in the recruitment drive. Subsequently, from December 18 to 23, 2023, the rally will extend its reach to Tarn Taran, offering a chance for youth from that district to showcase their capabilities and join the ranks of the armed forces.

The DC emphasized the need for comprehensive logistical arrangements, directing officials to ensure smooth transportation for candidates by organizing buses from bus stands and railway stations to the rally grounds and back. Additionally, arrangements for suitable accommodation at various locations were stressed to ensure the convenience and comfort of all candidates during the recruitment process. Notably, The upcoming Army recruitment rally stands as a crucial initiative to empower the youth of Punjab, providing them with an opportunity to serve the nation through the armed forces.
