Punjab Police Official arrested with heroin, STF caught him with a woman in Mohali latest news today: Mohali STF on Thursday arrested a Punjab Police official, posted in the police line of Faridkot district, and his female partner, with half kg heroin. 

The accused policeman was reinstated some time ago and was posted in the Faridkot Police Line. The name of the arrested accused is Gurpreet Singh and the name of the woman is said to be Navkiran Kaur.

Detailed information about the incident will be given during the police conference. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making several efforts to save Punjab from drugs. Apart from modernizing the police department, police personnel and officers posted in the same police station or district for a long time are being transferred on a large scale.

2000 police personnel were transferred

In the same sequence, about 2000 police personnel were transferred from Faridkot district.
