Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause & circumstances surrounding the fatal crash

JALANDHAR: In a distressing incident that transpired on Monday morning between 8:30 and 9:45, a 32-year-old bike rider lost his life in a fatal road accident near Rama Mandi on the Jalandhar-Ludhiana highway. The accident was of such severity that it claimed the young man's life on the spot, causing substantial head injuries.

The victim, identified as Prashant, was riding a Pulsar motorcycle clad in a blue t-shirt and heading from Ramamandi towards Jalandhar city. The tragic accident unfolded in proximity to the army headquarters along the highway. The authorities promptly initiated an investigation into the incident, with police from Jalandhar cantt and Baradari rushing to the scene to probe the matter further.

The Authorities notified the deceased's family about the tragic event. The police are awaiting the family's presence to proceed with the necessary formalities after conducting a thorough investigation. The circumstances leading to the accident remain unclear at this juncture.

The Cantt police station's Station House Officer (SHO) mentioned that the bike belonging to the deceased was seized by the police for examination, and the victim's body was sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death. The authorities are diligently investigating the incident to provide clarity on how this unfortunate accident occurred.
