In the meanwhile, the police officials have been looking into the matter. This is not the first time that Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has issued a death threat to someone. He has been issuing death threats against several Indian officials besides asking people to unfurl the Khalistani flag on the national monuments.

A few months ago, Pannu had issued a threat to India ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023 final in Ahmedabad. Also, one of his videos went viral on social media in which he was seen delivering a provocative speech and saying, "Delhi will soon be Khalistan" and that he will assassinate PM Narendra Modi.

However, he has always been given a befitting reply by Indians as none of his provocative speeches have left an impact on the mindset of Indians.
