The ministry has requested that the Chief Secretaries advise Sikh organizations in their respective states

India will not sent Sikh Pilgrims Jatha to Pakistan on Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in November 2025, News: GOI, Ministry of Home Affairs, in a notice addressed to the Chief Secretaries of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, stated that it would be possible to send the Sikh Pilgrims Jatha to Pakistan on the occasion of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in November this year. 

The decision has been made, taking into account the prevailing security scenario with Pakistan, and the notice has been issued after approval from the competent Authority.

The ministry has requested that the Chief Secretaries advise Sikh organizations in their respective states and ensure that no applications for the Jatha are processed.
