Visit Punjab state without any fear: Jathedar Harpreet Singh

Talwandi Sabo: Baisakhi festival is being celebrated with great pomp and show at Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo. Despite the strictness and vigilance of the police, lakhs of devotees are reaching Sri Damdama Sahib. Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, extended gratitude to the devotees who had arrived at Sri Damdama Sahib.

Giving a message to the Sangat, Giani Harpreet Singh said, "The situation in Punjab is fine. There is neither any conflict in the state nor between the two communities. No shots were fired in the conflict with the government here, but still Punjab is being called a troubled state."

Jathedar further said, "Punjab is being called a restless state. Punjab is peaceful and people pray for peace in the state. Sometimes mischievous elements first throw stones into the calm water. Later they say, look, the water is dirty."

Giani Harpreet Singh invited the people to visit Punjab and said, "Come to the state without any fear."

Giani Harpreet Singh showed the weapons belonging to the Guru Sahibs at Sri Damdama Sahib. Along with this, Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh also gave information about their historic importance.
