Amritsar to Kabul, Kandahar Flights to Start Soon: MP Sahney: In a major decision aimed at boosting trade and connectivity, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi announced that direct flights between Amritsar and Afghanistan will soon commence.
The announcement was made during his interaction with Indian industry leaders at FICCI in New Delhi on Monday, which was chaired by Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce and the Parliamentary AdvisAmritsar To Kabul, Kandahar Flights To Start Soon: MP Sahneyory Committee on External Affairs, Vikramjit Singh Sahney.
Dr. Sahney said that this is a historic step that could prove to be a game-changer for trade and industry in Punjab. He added that Amritsar’s strategic location and proximity to key border trade corridors will help establish faster and safer air connectivity between India and Afghanistan.
