Police issued Mobile No's 88378-83836, 82880-75736 for Information

BATALA: Punjab Police has intensified the search for fugitive Amritpal Singh. Posters of Amritpal have been put up at Batala railway station. A reward will be given by the police for information about Amritpal Singh. Police have issued mobile numbers 88378-83836, 82880-75736 for information.

The Poster Reads, "The above picture is of Amritpal Singh who is wanted by the police in various cases. Anyone who has information about this should inform on the following numbers. Appropriate reward will be given to informer. The informant's name will be kept confidential. Mobile No. 88378-83836, 82880-75736”.

In this regard, DSP Lalit Kumar said that apart from the railway station, these posters have also been put up at other public places. Earlier, Papalpreet, a close associate of Amritpal Singh, was arrested by the police on Monday from Kathunangal in Amritsar.

IGP Sukhchain Gill said that the police teams were acting on some important clues during the ongoing special operation. He said that Amritpal Singh's main accomplice Papalpreet Singh has been arrested by Amritsar Rural Police. He further informed that the accused Papalpreet Singh was wanted by the Punjab Police in six criminal cases.
