Further investigation into this extensive drug racket is underway

LUDHIANA: In a significant breakthrough, a drug racket operating in Ludhiana, Punjab, was dismantled through a collaborative effort between the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Punjab Police. The joint operation, targeting an inter-state narcotics network, culminated in a raid at Mullanpur Dakha in Ludhiana, resulting in the seizure of a substantial sum of drug money, amounting to Rs 4.94 crore, along with 38 counterfeit vehicle number plates. Additionally, law enforcement recovered a firearm during the operation.

In a coordinated operation carried out around 11:00 last night, Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with counter intelligence, executed a search operation at Dasmesh Nagar in Mullanpur. The operation led to the discovery of the illicit goods at the residence of a tenant identified as Manjit Singh, son of Satnam Singh, a resident of Mullanpur.

Notably, The recovery included a sizable amount of drug money and an alarming number of fake vehicle number plates, signaling a complex network of illegal activities. Further investigation into this extensive drug racket is underway as law enforcement authorities continue their efforts to dismantle such networks and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
