Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann To Hold Review Meeting Tomorrow Latest News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who was discharged from Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Thursday evening, will hold a meeting tomorrow at 11 AM to review the flood situation.
Deputy Commissioners of the flood-affected areas will participate via video conference, and the Secretary and Chief Secretary will join by arriving at the CM’s Chandigarh residence.
Chief Minister Mann left the hospital for his home in Chandigarh at around 4:30 PM. While leaving for home, he did not interact with the media but only greeted everyone with folded hands.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had been suffering from fever and infection for the last five days and was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali.
He was treated at the Chief Minister's residence in Chandigarh for the first two days, but due to lack of improvement in his health, he was brought to the hospital on Thursday night.
CM, in a post on X, said, “I will hold a meeting tomorrow at 11 AM to review the flood situation. Deputy Commissioners of flood-affected areas will participate in this meeting through video conference, and the Secretary and Chief Secretary will attend at my Chandigarh residence. In the meeting, discussions will be held on medical facilities to be provided to the people, compensation, and taking concrete steps to deal with the flood situation.”
