CJM Dr. Amar Inder Singh's court ordered the Regular Bail

CHANDIGARH: The local court has granted regular bail to Lakhwinder Singh Lakha, who is serving life sentence in the former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh murder case. CJM Dr. Amar Inder Singh's court ordered him to be released on bail in two sureties of 2 lakhs each.

Giving information about this, Advocate Jaspal Singh said that he had applied for his regular bail on behalf of Sukhwinder Kaur, sister of Lakhwinder Singh Lakha. He said that Dr. Amar Inder Singh Sandhu CJM Chandigarh court has accepted this application and ordered to release him on bail in two sureties.

He said that in this matter, the order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court was that those prisoners whose life sentence has been completed and the decision of their permanent release is not settled, such prisoners should be released on regular bail. He said that in this case, the jail superintendent and the home secretary appeared in the court and recorded their statements, after which the court issued this order.
