The Punjab government appealed PM for the release of its due funds and additional flood relief fund.

Punjab Floods PM Modi Punjab Visist Latest News: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Punjab today, about three weeks after the state was hit by the worst floods in recent times, AAP Punjab, hitting out at the PM, said, "Modi Ji, even if it’s after Afghanistan, at least you’ve finally remembered Punjab after all these days."

AAP Punjab made the statement in a post on X. It added, "You wrote in your tweet that your government stands with Punjab, but your same government is withholding Punjab’s rightful Rs 60,000 crore. Moreover, you haven’t even announced a relief package yet."

The Punjab government appealed PM for the release of its due funds and additional flood relief fund.

"If you truly stand with Punjab, release Punjab’s rightful Rs 60,000 crore and, before heading back, announce a separate Rs 20,000 crore relief package so that the massive losses to agriculture and farmers due to this disaster can be compensated, and Punjab can be brought back on its feet," it added in the post.
