Amritpal Singh has been elected as an independent MP from Khadoor Sahib in Punjab.

Amritpal Singh Latest News: In a major development, the Supreme Court on Friday dismissed the petition against the election of imprisoned parliamentarian Amritpal Singh as a Lok Sabha MP.

According to information, the petitioner argued that Amritpal Singh, who allegedly does not owe allegiance to the Constitution of India, should not qualify for membership of Parliament under Article 84 of the Constitution. The bench of Justices B R Gavai and K V Viswanathan heard the case.
