Punjab Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Next 4 Days

Punjab has been witnessing a massive heatwave for the past few days.

Punjab Weather Update And Forecast For Today and Tomorrow: The India Meteorological Department on Thursday issued the weather forecast for the next four days, issuing a yellow alert across the state. 

According to information,  the weather department has issued yellow alerts in both Punjab and Haryana, predicting thunderstorm/lightning with gusty wind (speed 30-40 kmph).

It is pertinent to mention that Punjab has been witnessing a massive heatwave for the past few days and the rain is likely to be a huge relief for the people. 

As per the media bulletin issued by IMD, the maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 44.7 Degrees Celsius in Bathinda while the lowest temperature was recorded at 25.8 Degrees Celsius in Adampur.   

In the last 24 hours, the weather in Punjab has been dry in the state with heat waves and warm night conditions reported at isolated places in the state.
