Residents Lock Themselves Indoors After Cheetah Spotted in Central Green Flat on Pakhowal Road

Leopard in Ludhiana News: In a startling incident, Ludhiana witnessed a surge of fear and panic as a leopard, locally referred to as a 'cheetah', entered the Central Green Flat on Pakhowal Road. The presence of the wild animal was first noticed by a resident, prompting immediate alarm within the community. The incident was captured on society cameras, intensifying the apprehension among the residents who hurriedly secured themselves indoors.

The news of the leopard's presence spread rapidly, triggering a response from the local authorities. The Sadar police swiftly arrived at the scene and took action to contain the situation, sealing off the area to prevent any potential threat to residents. SHO Gurpreet Singh of Sadar police station assured that although the leopard has reportedly left the society, a thorough inspection of the vicinity is ongoing to ensure the safety of the residents.
