Prime Minister to Visit Himachal Pradesh and Punjab Tomorrow Latest News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday to 'personally assess' the devastation caused by recent floods and landslides. According to reports, the visit includes an aerial survey and a high-level review meeting.
First, the PM will fly from Delhi to Pathankot onboard an Indian Air Force (IAF) Boeing Business Jet at 11 am. From there, he will board an MI-17 helicopter to Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, at 1:20 pm.
The Prime Minister will take off at 2:30 pm to conduct an aerial survey of the flash flood and landslide-hit areas across the state.
At 3:45 pm, he will land in Gurdaspur, Punjab, and then travel via road to lead an hour-long review meeting in Gurdaspur.
After the review meeting, the Prime Minister is scheduled to depart from Gurdaspur at 5:10 pm, arriving back at Pathankot airport at 5:30 pm, and will fly back to Delhi at 5:45 pm.
Punjab BJP, in a post on X on Sunday, said, "The Prime Minister will share the sufferings of flood-affected brothers, sisters, and farmers by holding a direct meeting with them and will take every possible step for their help."
Meanwhile, on Sunday BJP has appealed for flood relief support from the neighbouring states.
The Rajya Sabha MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, in a post on X yesterday, said that he appealed to the Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat for support in Punjab’s flood relief efforts.

“I humbly request you to issue necessary directions to make every possible assistance from your state immediately available to Punjab,” the MP’s letter to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister read.
The Minister of State for Railways and Minister of State for Food Processing Industries wrote similar letters to other Chief Ministers, in Hindi.
