Punjab PRTC and PUNBUS Bus Strike Today Latest News: Commuters across Punjab may suffer while travelling today as the government buses will not run across the state on August 8.

Contractual employees of PRTC and PUNBUS are on a strike, demanding to fulfill their long-standing unfulfilled demands.

Punjab PRTC and PUNBUS said in a statement that the strike has been specifically called for today in view of the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, which is scheduled for August 9, in order not to cause any inconvenience to sisters and mothers.
