One of the major demands highlighted by the adhatiyas was the recovery of the outstanding Rural Development Fund (RDF) from the central government. CM Mann revealed that the Centre owes Rs 192 crore in fees to the adhatiyas (commission agents), and he promised to actively pursue the matter with the central authorities.

The Chief Minister also discussed the pending payment of Rs 50 crore related to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) for the adhatiyas. To resolve this, CM Mann expressed his readiness to take legal action against the Food Corporation of India (FCI) if necessary, ensuring that the state's commission agents receive what they are owed.

CM Mann’s commitment to fight for the adhatiyas’ rights has been met with positive responses from the adhatiyas, who have long demanded government support in settling these financial issues. This meeting is seen as a step towards resolving the financial burdens faced by the adhatiyas and strengthening their position within the agricultural economy of Punjab.
