Singer Dies of Heart Attack While Singing Devotional Songs at Jagran Jagran in Ferozepur, Punjab: During a Mata Rani Jagran event held in Ferozepur, a renowned singer from Hoshiarpur, Sohan Lal Saini, reportedly passed away while performing devotional songs (bhents). A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
As soon as Sohan Lal Saini went up on stage and began singing, he suffered a heart attack and collapsed on the spot. His fellow performers immediately rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Sohan Lal Saini was a well-known devotional singer who had been performing bhajans at jagrans for a long time. Many of his audio cassettes and devotional tracks were once quite popular in the market.
