Punjab Relief News: Union Minister Shivraj Chouhan Holds Meeting, Visits Border Belt Villages News: Union Minister Shivraj Chouhan, on Thursday, held a meeting with leaders and local administrations at Amritsar Airport, Punjab.

The minister will visit flood-affected areas of Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, and Gurdaspur, according to Ravneet Sigh Bittu. He will be accompanied by Sunil Jakhar.

Following the meeting, the minister, along with MP Ravneet Sigh Bittu, visited Ghonewal and Dharamkot Randhawa villages in Punjab’s border belt.

The Union Government has deputed two teams for Punjab—one to visit the villages of Fazilka, Ferozepur, and Bathinda, and the other to cover Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, and Jalandhar. Over the next two days, these teams will assess the ground situation and evaluate the damage to livelihoods.
