Punjab Police constable is involved in Dancer Girl Row.

Simran Sandhu Controversy News: In a recent incident, a Punjabi dancer, namely Simran Sandhu, made headlines for her controversy which erupted after her video made rounds on social media in which she was seen abusing a man who was later identified as a Punjab Police employee. He allegedly threw a glass at Simran Sandhu, during a wedding.

According to information, Simran Sandhu and a Punjab Police constable got engaged in an argument at a wedding where she was performing on stage. It has been reported that the Punjab Police constable has been identified as Jagroop Singh, who is currently deployed at Ludhiana City as a Head Constable. 

However, there has been no sign of him ever since an FIR under sections 294 and 506 has been registered against him. 

Reportedly, he was drunk and was asking her to dance off the stage near him and was even abusing her. To this, she also lost her calm and started abusing him. The video sparked a row as it started making rounds on social media. 

While a lot of people extended their support to Simran Sandhu, there were quiet a few who were in support of the head constable. In the meanwhile, Punjab MLA Balkar Singh also reacted to the incident. 

MLA Balkar Singh said that it was absolutely wrong to make derogatory comments about a woman who is dancing as it is her profession. Besides, he assured that strict action would be taken against the accused in the case.
