Punjab Police Apprehends Tarn Taran Resident for Alleged Links with Pakistan’s ISI Latest News: In a major breakthrough, the Amritsar Rural Police has apprehended an individual from Punjab’s border district of Tarn Taran for allegedly maintaining contact with Pakistan’s ISI agents and receiving cross-border consignment, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said.
The accused has been identified as Ravinder Singh, also known as Ravi. Police have recovered two hand grenades from his possession.
According to DGP Yadav, preliminary investigation reveals that the accused was in touch with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and had received the consignment from across the border.
